Stouphill Gate, Ravenstonedale

Stouphill Gate is a traditional old Cumbrian farmstead, consisting of the old original farmhouse believed to be about 250 years old and the newer, only 150 years old, farmhouse where the owners now live. The property is so named as it stands just below the brow of Stoup Hill. This elevation means the property enjoys spectacular views across the countryside. The holiday cottage is located in the old farmhouse which is full of character as the photographs show. The accommodation has been carefully brought up to date whilst retaining all the best features of the original farmhouse, and the owners are careful to maintain the high standards of decor set during the refurbishment. In order to keep these high standards we operate a no smoking and no pets policy.

Our holiday cottage offers self catering accommodation with spectacular views across the nearby countryside. The cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep up to four adults or two adults and three children. In addition a separate ground floor annex room with an ensuite wet room which is fully wheel-chair accessible is available. This room has a double bed and sofa bed which can be made into a single bed if required.
