Am looking into the Bousfield family although am mostly interested in those from Hartley and Soulsby.  How do the Ravenstonedale Bousfields fit in with the others as I can't make a link.  My earliest one is a James Bousfield b1629c.  Some of them lived in Salt Pie House (can't find it on a map) and others obviously owned farms/land when indicated in census records. My maternal grandfather was a Bousfield but they had emigrated to Carlisle by then.
