Refreshments at Open House
As well as fresh perked Fairtrade filter coffee there are usually other refreshments such as Red Bush Tea and all the usual. It is mostly the case that home baked cakes, biscuits, buns and fruit breads are laid out for villagers and visitors alike. No charge is made for refreshments, but we hope you will like the chat and atmosphere enough to make a donation. Donations are used to maintain the 281 year old chapel – believed to be the oldest non-conformist chapel in the north of England.
