Just across the beck outside Kilnmire come August the common is a blaze of colour with the beautiful purple heather and all the wildflowers. We also see an abundance of wildlife like the brown hare, birds of prey, pheasants and mallards, which nest in the gorse. The wildlife we see gives us great enjoyment.
