What a marvellous website...I've spent quite a while looking through it. Certainly whets my appetite to spend my retirement in the village! I notice you don't have anything on the railway. Would you like me to prepare a brief note on the line, that's the old one from Tebay which is lifted, not the Settle & Carlisle. I think I have some photos of the station in my collection. If I came to the village, you would have 4 people who had been to Antarctica!
