Search Engines
A Search Engine is a computer program (software) which lets you to find what you are looking for on the World Wide Web. You call up a Search Engine by using a Web Browser. You simply key in the address of a Search Engine and it appears on screen.

Once the Search Engine is on screen you type in keywords to describe what you are looking for. The Search Engine will then give you a list of Web sites which are likely to have what you are looking for.
