Boon Days
Each year, at the start of the season, we have a 'boon day'. A 'boon day' is a day when people get together to help out on a project, in this case to clean up the tennis court. We also hold the Tennis Club AGM each boon day. Boon Day 2008 is on Saturday April 26th.

50th Anniversary
On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon (July 5th 2003) the tournament
held by the tennis club to celebrate their 50th anniversary was
an event enjoyed by all as these pictures show. An effort was made
to invite founder members of the club. More

Renovation
The court was competely renovated in August 2005.
Tennis
Champ
On the occasion of the twins christening Clive presented Stan with
a 'Tennis Champ' trophy, to be competed for between them, as and
whenever they are on the court. Clive's intention was that the cup
would only be loaned to Stan for a short time. However it has largely
remained in Stan's trophy cabinet ever since. Meanwhile the twins
are growing up and have more chance of nicking the trophy than Clive.
