Accommodation
The Barn is an attractive semi-detached stone bungalow with rear garden and car park.
It has two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with twin
beds. A cot is also available. Bathroom with electric shower
over bath and shaver point. Large lounge with electric fire,
colour TV, video and telephone (incoming calls and emergency
services only). Newly refurbished kitchen/dinerKitchen equipped with crockery, cutlery, pans,
electric cooker, microwave, fridge, automatic washing machine,
electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board etc. There
is also a patio furniture set for use in the garden and a
small charcoal barbecue (please supply own fuel). The Barn has oil fired central heating throughout which also heats
the water. In addition there is an immersion heater if extra
hot water is required.
Location
The Barn is situated in the picturesque village of Ravenstonedale which lies in a beautiful unspoilt area of countryside between
The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales national parks. You
can walk straight on to the Howgills from the bungalow. While
Ravenstonedale lies amid unspoilt countryside it remains easily
accessible, being just 7 miles east from junction 38 of the
M6. It is 4 miles from the market town of Kirkby Stephen.
Lakeland towns and villages such as Kendal, Ambleside, Windermere
and Keswick are a moderate drive to the West while Sedbergh
and the Dales are a easily accessed to the east.

Tariff 2006
Please
telephone for 2006 tariffs (From £195 - £330 per week). Tariffs
quoted include oil fired central heating and electricity. Duvets,
blankets, pillows and electric blankets are provided but visitors
are asked to bring their own sheets, towels and tea-towels.
Bookings can be made by sending a non-refundable deposit of
£50. Balance due 2 weeks before arrival.
