Ravenstonedale, like many other towns and villages throughout Cumbria, hosts an agricultural show each year, circumstances permitting. These events attract not only sheep judging and other farming related activities but also a wealth of exhibitions and competitions involving crafts, art and baking etc. A good time is usually had by all.
