The Upper Eden Community Plan was generated through extensive consultation with residents in 17 local parishes: Brough, Crosby Garrett, Hartley, Hellbeck, Kaber, Kirkby Stephen, Mallerstang, Musgrave, Nateby, Ravenstonedale and Newbiggin-on-Lune, Soulby, Sowerby, Stainmore, Waitby, Warcop, Wharton, Winton. The purpose of the Plan is to influence decisions taken by government at local and national levels that impact on our environment.
