A 12 week consultation period commenced in mid-December 2009

Lakes to Dales Landscape Designation Project
From Chris Elphick (Clerk to the Parish Council)
If we are going to be consulted I believe that people should be able to know the facts to date. I wonder how much of a "Consultation" there will be. I am trying to find the Yorkshire Dales viewpoint on all this but I am told that it will be discussed at their December meeting.
A note for Ravenstonedale is that, although the proposed boundary runs along the A685, it skirts to the south of Ravenstonedale and Newbiggin-on-Lune.
The Parish Council will be arranging meetings to discuss the proposals.

The proposals run to about 70 pages including a dozen A3 maps. I have downloaded hard copy of all the maps and proposals and would be happy to answer questions. I can be contacted by email as: chriselphick@aol.com
