There is a tennis court in the village for use by residents and visitors alike. The surface is tarmac. It was completely renovated in August 2005. Membership is open to all. Visitors pay £2 per person per session at the Black Swan in the village.

Boon Days
Each year, at the start of the season, we have a 'boon day'. A 'boon day' is a day when people get together to help out on a project, in this case to clean up the tennis court. We also hold the Tennis Club AGM on each boon day.

On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon (July 5th 2003) the tournament held by the tennis club to celebrate their 50th anniversary was an event enjoyed by all as these pictures show. An effort was made to invite founder members of the club. More pictures. Renovation
